AKA RADAR

Siggi the Soap Master. Diagnosed at 2 with Autism and just turned 18. My cute little non verbal, hand flapper was perfect in my eyes. But how would he ever fit in in this world. Would tons of expensive therapy fix him? What was the remedy, what was the solution to get him to function as per our expectations. As a parent you do the best you can and have no answers to so many questions. And then you focus on the can, not the can't. My job is to accept him exactly as he is, while still giving him the understanding and support he needs the be the best that he can be. 

He always loved cooking and painting but at 18, he seemed a bit lost. Just floating with nothing to call his own, while his sister started driving, dating and working. So I presented him with Siggi Soaps and this has been the best gift of the new year. He hit the ground running. He owns it. He's beaming with pride and wakes up asking to make soap. So let's get this show on the road...

My goal for the future is that it grows into a community special needs workshop. That's my dream. I hope you will show your support and also love his soaps.

A proud mom to Siggi. If you're actually reading this, here it goes. My role here is to be Siggi's advocate. Im happy to make sure the word gets out and we can share our soaps with the world. So I'm the design, I.T., packaging, social media, and branding department. I have always been involved in creating anything I can get my hands on. From painting, leather work, jewelry design, gardening, building, cooking, photography and now soap making. There aren't enough hours in the day  to do the things I love. I always engaged my children in crafts and outdoor fun. The secret to a happy and healthy life. We take nothing for granted. While having a son with autism is truly challenging and trying at times, it also teaches so many lessons in accepting diversity in the world around us. Stay kind, stay tolerant, be patient, be understanding and most important stay pure.

Thank you to all of our friends and family that have supported us and listened to me talk about soaps non-stop. Now I hope you enjoy the lather.

Sister to Siggi and overall amazing human. She assists in all daily chores. A comedian at heart she aims to please. Being a Sister to a special needs brother isn't always easy of course. But there have been so many laughs along the way. We love, we support and we help each other. I'm hoping you can follow us on Instagram. Where we will be posting our small soap shop ventures. AKA COCO NUTS 

Always late to staff meetings due to a high priority of chasing squirrels. She has the keen ability to keep moral up. She is always ready for a group run to make sure that we get fresh air and exercise.
